A manifesto video for WMRAS that spotlights innovation in Singapore’s waste industry.

Objective

To modernise the public perception of the waste industry and attract mid-career professionals by spotlighting innovation, sustainability, and advanced waste tech.

Challenge

How to depict the visuals of waste industry in a refreshing perspective, deviating from the cliched perception of the industry being “dirty” and “low-skilled”.

Our Approach

We filmed the waste in an abstract, almost artistic manner, and featured waste management processes akin to any tech-forward, engineering-driven industry. The scripting, editing style and sound design was also an important element in helping to “sell” or create an inspiring message for the target audience.
